Last night (June 17), British crooner Sam Smith promoted his debut album, In The Lonely Hour, with an intimate concert at “The Apollo Theater” in New York City.
After Smith belted the first verse and chorus of his top-ten single “Stay With Me” to the sold-out crowd, he was joined by the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.
She lent her powerful vocals to the second verse and a few soft ad-libs to the bridge of the ballad. The two artists took the song to higher heights as they sang in unison for a magical ending.
The remix version of “Stay With Me” featuring Blige is available now on iTunes. In addition, Sith’s new album, In The Lonely Hour, and Blige’s Think Like A Man Too soundtrack are available in stores and on digital retailers.
