Trey Songz earns his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with his latest effort “Trigga.” Released on July 1, the album sold 105,000 during its first week of sales, according to Billboard.
Songz went on Twitter to show his gratitude to those who supported his project. ‘Thank you to everyone who went and spent their hard earned money on my album. #TRIGGA #1 because of you all. I’m forever grateful. #LOVE,” he tweeted.

“Trigga” includes fan favorite tracks such as “Na Na,” “SmartPhones” and “Foreign.” There are also guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Mila J, Ty Dolla $ign and others.
The Virginia native’s previous album “Chapter V” was his first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The set, which included songs like “Dive In” and “Heart Attack,” sold 135,000 units in its first week of sales.
