With almost a decade of experience in the music industry, Trey Songz sets his eyes on discovering new talent.
The “I Gotta Make It” singer has partnered with Artists Publishing Group to discover and nurture budding songwriters, artists and producers via their new venture Tucker Songz Publishing.
“As I grew as an artist, I had the opportunity to work with several well known producers and writers,” Songz said in a statement. “I recognize that not everyone has access to that, but that they still have raw talent that can be harnessed into greatness. That’s exactly what I intend to do with this new publishing company.”
According to Billboard, Tucker Songz Publishing will have producer Sterling Brim and Forrest Tucker serving as the primary liaisons alongside Songz and APG CEO Caren.
Songz’ latest album “Trigga” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 105,000 copies sold during the first week of sales.
