Out of all the singers that have tried their hand at covering Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Aretha Franklin’s version may be the best yet. The iconic singer has released her rendition of Adele’s mega hit single as the first offering from her new album “Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics.”
Franklin’s new album will include other remakes of classic songs including “At Last” by Etta James, “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan, “No One” by Alicia Keys and “Midnight Train to Georgia” by Gladys Knight and the Pips, among others.
“Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics” will release on October 21 via RCA Records.
