Songbook recording artist Richard King introduces himself to the world with his debut single “Plus One.”
On the L&F produced track, King looks to have a night of “fun” with his lover and her sexy friend. “I can never speak for you but as for me, baby I can always use the company/ You and plus one,” King sings. “Two is good but three is fun,” he continues.
” ‘Plus One’ is like one of those colloquialisms that is gonna replace the dreaded “side piece” title,” says King. “Like being invited to a fancy black tie event instead of a hood shindig. It adds a touch of ‘bourgeois.’ “Let’s face it… everyone needs a ’Plus One’ at some point.”
