Next month, Syleena Johnson will release her new album “Chapter 6: Couples Therapy.” With her new single “My Love” making buzz, the “R&B Divas: Atlanta” star looks to generate more hype behind the album by releasing its cover art and tracklisting.
“Chapter 6: Couples Therapy,” composed of 13 tracks, will feature guest appearances from Leela James, Dave Hollister and Willie Taylor. The new album also features production by Kris “Kajun” Johnson, Medor and Johnson herself.
“Basically, you’re going to see the ups and downs of a relationship,” Johnson told Rated RnB. ” I think “Chapter 6: Couples Therapy” is going to be relative to everyone because of the content that everyone can relate to in any kind of relationship they’re in.”
Johnson also revealed one of her favorite tracks on her new album. ” ‘Harmony” right now is my favorite record,” she revealed. “David Hollister’s and my voice together just sounds so cool. I wanted to work with him for so long. It’s a perfect marriage. He’s so soulful and he’s got that same kind of thing going where no one sounds like him and he has that different voice. So, to merge our two voices together is really powerful.”
“Chapter 6: Couples Therapy” will release on October 28.
