Blige’s soft ballad “Whole Damn Year,” penned by Emeli Sandé, rises from No. 11 to No. 10 after only two weeks on the urban adult contemporary radio chart. The emotional tune has tallied over 840 radio spins since debuting at No. 31 with 125 spins.
The warm response from urban adult contemporary radio listeners has trickled over to urban radio as well. “Whole Damn Year” stands at No. 29 on urban radio.
