Budding artist Adrian Marcel supplies R&B fans with a touching new song titled “Spending the Night Alone.”
Produced by Rico Love and Jim Jonsin, the sincere tune finds the Oakland bred singer pouring out his heart about lost love. “She got me laying here by the phone/ I can’t keep spending the night alone / I’ve got all that I could ever want, but it just ain’t enough if it ain’t you baby,” he sings passionately.
Raphael Saadiq’s protégé plans to release an EP before the year ends. It will serve as the follow-up project to his summer-released mixtape “Weak After Next,” which featured his Sage the Gemini assisted single “2AM.”
He tells YouKnowIGotSoul.com “we’re looking at calling it [EP] ‘The Last Damn Weak.’”
