It’s been a while since we’ve heard official music from Jordin Sparks. However, the underrated powerhouse singer premieres her new track “I Wish We’d All Been Ready.”
“Life was filled with guns and war/ And all of us got trembled on the floor/ I wish we’d all been ready/ Children die, the days grow cold/ A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold/ I wish we’d all been ready,” Sparks sings.
“I Wish We’d All Been Ready” will appear on the soundtrack for the motion picture “Left Behind,” which is now playing in theaters.
Sparks also stars in the movie as Shasta Carvell, an emotionally fragile wife of a football star. According to the film’s official website, “Shasta is travelling with her young daughter on Rayford’s flight to London. When her child vanishes in the Rapture, she struggles with a secret that threatens both her own life and the lives of the remaining passengers.”
