Mary J. Blige supplies fans with more new music from her 13th studio album The London Sessions.
The Grammy-winning artist unlocks “When You’re Gone,” a guitar-stricken ballad where she uses a soft low register to let her man know how she feels when he isn’t in clear view. She sings, “when you’re gone / I miss you like I did when we were first together / no one in this world could ever hold me better / just tell me when you’re coming home.”
The singer-songwriter has released four other songs ahead of the release of her impending album including “Nobody But You,” “Therapy,” “Whole Damn Year” and the Disclosure produced track “Right Now.”
If fans pre-order The London Sessions, “When You’re Gone” will be made available instantly. The London Sessions arrives on November 24 in the UK and December 2 in the United States.
