Dawn Richard digs into the dance archives of the 80’s with her upbeat track called “Physical.”
On the retro flute driven instrumental, the “Armor On” artist dims her vocals register to sing softly about living spontaneously and having some up-close-and-personal time with a special guy. “Let’s be careless and vibe, yeah / Let’s get physical / Baby, let’s get physical,” sings Dawn on the infectious hook.
Since October, Richard’s has released a music video for “Blow” and dropped a song called “Professional.” Both songs will be featured on Blackheart, the second installment of her Heart trilogy.
Blackheart is slated to arrive on January 15.
