Indira Khan, daughter of the legendary Chaka Khan, has released her new single “Bathe Me.” On the smooth track, Khan sings about wanting unconditional love.
“Bathe me in your water / Wash me in your body and soul / Bathe me in your water / Wash me in your love,” Khan sings on the ballad.
“‘Bathe Me’ is one of my favorite songs that I wrote a while ago,” says Khan. “It, like a lot of my songs, is about love… pure love. I’m just a hopeless romantic. I wanted to release a song, sort of as a teaser for things to come but I wanted to make sure this first single really showcased my vocals. I hope listeners like it.”
