After releasing two successful singles from her album The Truth, Ledisi readies “Lose Control” as the third single.
Produced by our Rated Next Artist Joe Ryan, “Lose Control” finds Ledisi ordering her lover to rush home to enjoy some five-star treatment. From decorating the home in rose petals to wearing red high heels, Ledisi steps out of her comfort zone to give her man the loving she believes he deserves.
ALBUM REVIEW: Ledisi – ‘The Truth’
Her lead single “I Blame You” rose to No. 3 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. Meanwhile, her Grammy nominated record “Like This” peaked at No. 9 on the same Billboard chart.
Last month, Ledisi released her first acoustic project titled The Intimate Truth, which she dedicated solely to her fans. “It’s a big thank you to my fans,” said Ledisi to Rated R&B. “It’s saying, ‘thank you for being there with me and thank you for growing with me and being there through The Truth.’ I’m still here and I’m here because of you.”
