Emerging singer Mickey Blue sings praises to a special lady on new single, “Give Yourself Away.”
Produced by Benstars, the mellow track hears the Toronto native sharing his appreciation to a woman he feels indebted to. “Whatever she’s having, we’ll take two of those / I’m about to spoil her, she already knows,” coos the soulful crooner.
In a interview with The Lifestyled, Blue shared how he got started creating music. “I was in a dark place prior to discovering/acknowledging my musical inclination. I never want to go back there. At a point I was convinced there was nothing else for me, music allowed me to speak freely and on my own terms. It is the healthiest form of self-medication that I am aware of. Creating music was and continues to be ‘my way out.'”
