BET has revealed the honorees for this year’s Black Girls Rocks! ceremony.
R&B veteran Erykah Badu will receive the Rock Star Award for her incredible musical contributions. Other honorees include Cicely Tyson (Living Legend Award), Ava DuVernay (Shot Call Award), Nadia Lopez (Change Agent Award), Dr. Helene D. Gayle (Social Humanitarian Award) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Star Power Award).
This year’s performers include Ciara, Jill Scott, Faith Evans, Sheila E., Lalah Hathaway and Erykah Badu.
Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, Black Girls Rock will be taped on Saturday, March 28. The show will air on Sunday, April 5 at 7 p.m. EST on BET.
