Emerging singer Kehlani premieres her latest track “Jealous.” The 19-year-old Oakland native puts her man on blast after she discovers the only reason why he’s with her is for her popularity.
“You stay taken pictures, pictures / Just too show them to your bitches, bitches / Just so you can make ’em jealous / Now I know where your head is,” sings Kehlani.
Speaking on her new track, Kehlani says, “Jealous is about recognizing intention… having to end things with someone because they’re about your lifestyle not necessarily you. I feel like a lot of people with any sort of success have been through something like this. A lotta people lack integrity.”
“Jealous” will appear on Kehlani’s forthcoming project, You Should Be Here, which is drops on April 28.
