Janet Jackson has her fans so excited. The multi-talented artist celebrated her 49th birthday by announcing details about her new album era.
The Damita Jo singer shared a 50 second video on her Twitter account at midnight on May 16, which revealed her upcoming career moves. “I promised you’d hear it from my lips and now you will,” said Jackson in a petite voice. “This year: new music; new world tour; a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”
There has been no album release date or tour dates to follow Jackson’s new announcement.
Jackson’s new album will serve as the follow-up to her 2008 release Discipline. The number-one album spawned singles such as “Feedback” and “Rock With U,” which made moderate impacts on the Billboard charts.
