After much anticipation, Prince premieres his tribute song “Baltimore.” The funk/soul track was written following the death of 25-year old Freddie Gray and is a tribute to all of the people of Baltimore.
“If there ain’t no justice, then there ain’t no peace,” Prince chants on the hook.
Prince and his band 3RDEYEGIRL will headline “Rally 4 Peace” concert on Sunday at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local youth charities.
