Rico Love releases “Days Go By” two weeks before his debut album, Turn The Lights On, drops.
In your car with the windows down, sun behind you, and nothing but open road in front of you, that is where you wish you could be while listening to “Days Go By.” Love, sings about the struggle of missing his ex and the regret he feels for doing wrong, in his latest release.
“I thought that cravings die, but I still want you”, he shares, in this brilliant single choice following his previous, “Somebody Else.” “Days Go By” features Rico Love’s strong and smooth vocals, as well as him rapping on the bridge.
The track was produced by two-time Grammy-winner Danja, who also produced massive hits like Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back” and Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous.” Rico and Danja have also produced together, more recently on Kelly Rowland’s Talk A Good Game album.
Rico Love’s new album, Turn The Lights On, is available for pre-order now and will be released May 19. With what could be my new favorite song, the anticipation continues to rise.
