The Weeknd appeared at the BET Awards for the first time in his career.
The Toronto native kicked off his two-song set with his new single “The Hills,” which will appear on his next album.
Alicia Keys joined The Weeknd on stage to perform a smooth duet of his big hit “Earned It,” from the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack. Keys remained stationed at her piano as she belted the seductive lyrics alongside The Weeknd.
