It’s official! Janet Jackson’s highly awaited eleventh studio album will arrive this fall. The superstar confirmed details via her official website this morning (June 3). Her untitled album will release via her own record label Rhythm Nation Records/BMG.
BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch said, “Janet is not just a supreme artist, she is a unique cultural force whose work resonates around the world. It is an honor that she has chosen BMG to release her long-awaited new album. We look forward to collaborating with her across every platform.”

Jackson commented, “Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home. The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here.”
Jackson’s new album will be her first project released in over seven years. Her last album, Discipline, was released in 2008 and featured hot singles “Feedback” and “Roc Wit U.”
Jackson broke the internet on May 16 when she unveiled an announcement video that teased a new album and world tour.
