As the release date for the Nina Revisted: A Tribute to Nina Simone album approaches, Jazmine Sullivan’s take on “Baltimore” and Usher’s version of “My Baby Just Cares for Me” surface online.
“Baltimore,” originally appeared on Randy Newman’s 1977 album Little Criminals before Simone remade the record a year later.

Meanwhile, “My Baby Just Cares for Me” appeared on Simone’s 1958 debut album Little Girl Blue.
Nina Revisted: A Tribute to Nina Simone will serve as the soundtrack for the Netflix documentary, What Happened, Miss Simone?, due June 26. The tribute album will feature covers from Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Robert Glasper, Grace, Andra Day and Simone’s daughter Lisa, among others.
