Rated Next Artist Yuri Koller has released a song dedicated to the late Sandra Bland titled “Who You Gonna Call Now.” Written and produced by Koller himself, the Toronto questions the actions of law enforcement.
“Everyday I see em goin thru the same thing / Pointing fingers but who’s gonna take the blame / It’s not black or white, it seems like there’s more than 50 shades of grey / Tryna make it through the night, aren’t the red and blue supposed to save the day? Well ok,” Koller sings.
Bland, a 28-year-old activist for racial equality, was found dead hanging from a noose made of a trash bag in her cell at the Waller County Jail in Texas earlier this month. She was arrested after allegedly failing to use her turn signal.
