With love comes pain. R&B newcomer Miesa paints a familiar picture of not being emotionally unavailable on her street single “Blame My Ex.”
The raw and relatable track is about carrying baggage full of hurt, pain and insecurities from a past relationship. “I’m not for romantics / I’m not really big about fairy tales / I’m not gonna leap anymore into love / And I’m not down for chances / So you can miss me with yours,” she sings. “If you wanna go blame somebody / Wanna blame somebody, body body blame my ex.”
“Blame My Ex” was written by songwriting duo JacksonCroft (Tamia, Keri Hilson) and produced by The Chemistri (Kristinia Debarge, Deborah Cox).
Stay tuned for Miesa’s official single that is set to release soon. Her debut album is due this winter.
