Jennifer Hudson is giving us a sneak peek of what to expect from her in the revival of the Broadway musical, The Color Purple.
Hudson, who will play Shug Avery, joined co-star Cynthia Erivo in a recording booth to perform the title track. A video of their performance was shared on The Color Purple’s official Facebook page.
The Color Purple will open on December 10 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
