Emerging singer Genra has released his debut single “The Notebook.” On the slow burning track, Genra shows his vulnerable side as he sings about a relationship that’s has gone downhill.
“I’ll pretend you didn’t rip our story into pieces / I’ll reread the chapter where I cheated / I can’t believe it, two wrongs don’t make a right / Tonight, I’ll write my wrongs on this paper,” he sings.
Genra is hard at work at his debut project that is expected to release next year. In the meantime, he’s gearing up to perform at BET’s Music Matters Showcase at SOB’s on October 6.
