Tori Kelly recruits Jeremih for a revised version of her single “Should’ve Been Us.” Jeremih comes in halfway through the breakup anthem to give a man’s perspective.
“You’ll never know the couple that we could’ve been / Always talkin’ about the man that I should’ve been / No complaints when I always had the wood up in / That act right, you act like it’s all good again / Them girls you hanging with they really not your friends / They can’t fix your problems, they ain’t gotta man,” he sings.
The original version of “Should’ve Been Us” appears on Kelly’s debut album, Unbreakable Smile, which is available now.
