Eryn Allen Kane. Remember that name. The talented singer has released her latest tune called “Piano Song.” The soothing track, penned by Kane and Will Miller, was first heard on last night’s episode of Being Mary Jane on BET.
Kane’s talent is certainly undeniable. In fact, music icon Prince is one of her biggest supporters. Kane was featured on his revolutionary song “Baltimore” that was released this year.
Speaking on the advice Prince has given her, Kane told Essence,”He really wants to see young talented artists thrive. He wants to see real musicians get shine. He tells me to stay true to myself even though my music isn’t the type of music that’s being played on the radio all the time it’s important for people to hear it. He’s like, it’s up to you to be authentic and stay true to who you are at all costs because that is going to give you a long career.”
