While “You Don’t Know” rises on urban adult contemporary radio, Tank unleashes a new song called “Better For You.” On the emotionally charged track, the DMV native acknowledges his mistakes in his relationship and asks his woman for another chance.
“How could I not promise you perfection? / I’m gonna have to answer to my reflection / I’m realizing there’s way to much on the line,” he sings.
“Better For You” and “You Don’t Know” will appear on Tank’s forthcoming album, Sex, Love & Pain II, which drops on Jan. 22. The album is available for pre-order now on iTunes. Fans who pre-order the album will get an instant download of both tracks.
