Before 2015 comes to a close, Sammie drops a free album titled Indigo. The 12-track set is Sammie’s gift to his supportive fans as he readies his next album.
“I simply wanted to share a body of work to you all in an effort to revive the feeling again in r&b sonically, conceptually & most importantly,emotionally,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Also, to illustrate my gratitude for you all’s support & patience.”
He adds, “This project is closure. I’ve been conflicted for so long on how to prioritize my life that in the process of doing so the most important thing which is love, got pushed to the bottom of the list. I’m finally at the point where nothing else matters to me but love. From my mistakes, I’ve learned the lesson. And those very same mistakes molded me into the man I am today.”
Sammie’s third studio album, Blue Orchid, is scheduled to release in 2016.
