Usher fans can rejoice. He has announced his long-awaited eighth studio album, Flawed, is coming soon! The R&B icon made the announcement via a Twitter video with artist Daniel Arsham.
When Arsham asked Usher what they were working on, Usher responded, “Amazing, incredible, awesome…For Flawed, my new album. It’s coming.”
The exciting news follows Usher’s private show on New Year’s Eve for Samsung Pay in Hollywood, where he performed two new songs “Hard to Love” and “Cards.”
Flawed is the follow-up to Usher’s 2012 album, Looking 4 Myself, which included “Climax” and “Scream.”
Usher has been hard at work on this new project. We’re happy to see that he’s taking his time with it. In 2014, he released three songs: “Good Kisser,” “She Came To Give It You” featuring Nicki Minaj, and “I Don’t Mind” featuring Juicy J.
Despite putting out solid songs, each one had mild success on the charts. In the same year, the Atlanta native launched his UR Experience Tour, which ran through mid-December.
