Lalah Hathaway has teamed up with rap legend Snoop Dogg for her latest song “Ghetto Boy.” The Terrace Martin produced track was inspired by Hathaway’s Grammy-nominated single “Little Ghetto Boy” from her latest album, Lalah Hathaway Live.
Lalah and Snoop’s pairing on “Ghetto Boy” brings heightened resonance to the song’s enduring message, which also features the stylings of musician Robert Glasper.
Aside from her 2016 Grammy nomination, Hathaway is also nominated at the upcoming 2016 NAACP Image Awards, in the category of Outstanding Female Artist.
