After stealing our hearts with his “Hello” cover, Joe Thomas makes a return with a powerful song called “Our Anthem.”
Arriving just in time for Black History Month, the tune blends the lyrics of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Otis Redding’s “Try A Little Tenderness” to bring awareness to issues affecting the black community.
“Our Anthem” should definitely hold us over while we wait for Joe’s next album, My Name is Joe Thomas, which hits stores this summer.
