Singer and actor Mishon opens up about his trials and tribulations of growing up in the industry with his single “The Truth.”
On the track, he details how he lost motivation to pursue his dreams including his album being shelved by Columbia Records and being released from the label.
“Did a deal with a major/put my sh*t on the shelf/they told me I wasn’t ready/ this sh*t is bad for my health,” Mishon sings.
“This song depicts what I’ve been going through in the industry since I was 10 yrs old. I’ve had my ups and downs dealing with the politics of this industry. But after looking in the mirror I realized I’ve been in my own way. I’ve finally grown to the point where I’m ready,” wrote Mishon on Soundcloud.
“The Truth” follows the group of tracks cut from his upcoming project The Truth.
