Soul trio KING has been making noise since they released their 2011 EP, The Story. The three-track offering quickly became a hit and opened up many opportunities for them; “The Story” was featured on GLAMOUR‘s Top Songs Playlist. “Supernatural” made it to NPR’s Song of the Day; and “Hey” was featured in the 2014 motion picture About Last Night. Now the focus is on their debut album, We Are KING, which is out today. The album contains 12 hypnotizing tracks that are buttered with spine-tingling harmonies over 80’s-inspired beats.
