After dropping her country-inspired song “Ugly,” Fantasia shares a fresh tune called “So Blue.” On the raw and melodic track, Fantasia reflects on getting revenge on her cheating ex. She ultimately learns that two wrongs don’t make a right.
“See, a lot of times, when things happen, you react in the moment and you’re not thinking about anything but trying to get that person back or making that person hurt like you hurt,” she says. “When you have time to sit back and think about it, it’s too late. The damage is already done.”
“So Blue” is lifted from Fantasia’s upcoming album, The Definition of…, along with “Ugly” and “No Time For It.”
“This album means so much to me,” Fantasia wrote on Facebook. “I was finally allowed to create a body of work that truly speaks to my love of MUSIC.. ALL MUSIC.. I AM MUSIC.”
The Definition of… will officially release on June 10. Fans can pre-order the album now and will get an instant download of “So Blue,” Ugly” and “No Time For It.”
