Fresh off the release of his debut album, In My Mind, BJ The Chicago Kid announces his first world tour, which kicks off in Osaka, Japan, at Billboard Live.
The In My Mind World Tour will feature guests Elhae and Tish Hyman. Tickets are currently available for purchase on his official website.
In addition, he will honor the legendary Marvin Gaye with a posthumous duet of his 1971 classic “What’s Going On.”
The duet is a part of the “Motown: Re-imagined” series that will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the late legend’s single. The What’s Going On EP will be released on a 10-inch vinyl that will include Gaye’s original 7-inch mono single versions of “What’s Going On” and “God Is Love.”
“Marvin Gaye is a huge inspiration to me.” He said in a press release, “The music he graced us with gave the world a little more beauty, and a lot more soul.”
