Alicia Keys is back! The 35-year-old singer releases her brand new single “In Common.” Produced by The Weeknd’s longtime collaborator Illangelo, the dance-friendly tune explores Keys’ undeniable love for her man.
“We all have our issues, our challenges,” Keys explains. “We are all kind of messed up and that’s all right. In fact, that’s what helps us understand each other. To me, that is what’s so beautiful.”
“In Common” is the lead single from Keys’ forthcoming sixth studio album, which will release later this summer via RCA Records. The new album will reflect her roots in NYC and hip-hop culture and who she is today as an activist, woman and artist.
On May 7, Keys will return to Saturday Night Live to perform “In Common,” with Oscar winner Brie Larson as host.
