Guess who’s back?! Lloyd. The New Orleans native makes a strong return with a brand new song titled “Tru.” On the raw and honest track, he keeps it real as he explains why he’s been out of the spotlight for some time.
“I wrote this for the feelings I had inside,” Lloyd shared on his Instagram. “I released this for the ones who understand what it’s like to have ups and downs, ultimately allowing your faith and God carry you through. I’m sending this to my friends my family and my fans who have loved me when I couldn’t love them back the way I needed to.
He continues, “I’m constantly thinking about those who are with me in spirit. We will always be faced with challenges, but how we respond to them determines our reality. By teaching ourselves the art of letting go, we are transforming our lives, inspiring those around us, and allowing ourselves to experience true joy. Thank you world for giving us a voice. Thank you God for giving me the strength to speak my truth. #TRU”
