Mario is back yet again. After releasing his Rick Ross-assisted single “Forever” last summer, he returns with a brand new track titled “I Need More.” The club banger, which premiered on Beats 1 Radio, will appear on his forthcoming album, Paradise Cove.
Mario explained that he felt more free creating his new album since it will be released independently.
“I found myself having to face my own darkness in order to step into the next phase of my purpose,” he said. “It inspired certain sounds and textures that you wouldn’t get from a label-produced Mario album.
He continued, “We were able to create a concept, lyrically and sonically, that expresses exactly what I was feeling: the void. Even in the midst of manifesting our wildest desires and material gains, it still ain’t enough. You need more: truth, love, happiness, freedom.”
