Jazmine Sullivan has teamed up with Reebok and new app Bkstg to give audiences a glimpse of her personal journey. In the three-part vlog series, Sullivan details the beginnings of her career including being signed and then later released from Jive Records, meeting Missy Elliott and performing at the Black Lily in her hometown Philadelphia.
Sullivan shows viewers how her city shaped her into the person she is today. She takes viewers on a journey back to her childhood home, Strawberry Mansion, where she shares stories with her mother and father.
“I’m going to be working on my album, and I’m looking for inspiration just so that it’s real. I’m gonna collaborate with my fans and hopefully be inspired by them, and I’m really excited about that,” Sullivan says.
Sullivan’s vlog series will be followed by more personal stories of artists documenting their career and their inspiration to #STEPFORWARD regardless of roadblocks crossing their paths.
