R&B newcomer Malachiae Warren shows off his rapping skills on his remake of Dae Dae’s “Wat U Mean.” On Warren’s version of the track, he’s just having fun delivering clever bars that are full of personality. The singer-songwriter tackles the beat seamlessly as if he’s been rapping for years.
“The squad with me/No gang gang/No set trippin’ we in our own lane/ Designer on me like I’m Panda/Got a white girl named Amanda,” Warren raps.
His cover follows his debut EP Heard U Was In My City, which is now available on iTunes.
