Maxwell continues to share new music from his forthcoming album, blackSUMMERS’night. The R&B veteran has released a new tune called “Fingers Crossed,” along with a lyric video.
“Cross your fingers babe / I know sometimes your love is pessimistic / Oh, baby baby / Maybe your love is just a big mistake / Maybe your love is what you fabricated / If you get the courage baby / Someday, maybe, probably, maybe you’ll be mine,” he sings on the jazzy track.
“Fingers Crossed” follows Maxwell’s previously shared tracks “All The Ways Love Can Feel,” “Gods,” “1990x” and “Lake by the Ocean.”
