With only four songs posted on his SoundCloud, Brent Faiyaz is already catching the ears of R&B lovers. His latest track, “Poison,” is a good one.
Produced by Ben Free, “Poison” is a slow but driving ballad, with the Maryland native crooning about a toxic relationship that he just cannot let go of.
“Girl you do damage to me / No I love it, yeah I love you / Ain’t nothing better for me now / Girl you do damage to me,” he sings.
Brent Faiyaz is really a fresh-face singer in the music business having only his debut single, “Allure,” last year. The singer is gearing up for his debut EP reportedly titled Side A: AM Paradox.
