R&B/soul newcomer Berhana delivers a whimsical video for his new track “Janet.”
As a dedication to actress Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Viv on 90s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, “Janet” is a sweet song with an important message. On the lush and playful production, Berhana addresses issues over race and skin color. Directed by Sam Guest, the video features Berhana riding through the suburbs on a children’s bike singing about the woes in his life.
“Used to love me / I used to love you / We had the phones / We had the phones / But d-d-did you love me? / Like I loved you?,” he sings
