JR Castro is keeping the #Made2Mondays music series strong with the fifth cover from his forthcoming mixtape, Songs You Were Made To, hosted by DJ Carisma. This time the Las Vegas takes on Al B. Sure!’s 1998 In Effect Mode album cut, “Oooh, This Love is So.”
Linking back up with Grammy-nominated producers, The Audibles, Castro recreates the Al B. Sure! song, keeping the original vibe but spicing up the production while adding soft, sweet background vocals from singer-songwriter Goldiie.
This cover follows Castro’s cover of Jon B.’s “They Don’t Know” and “Cupid,” a cover of the 1997 hit single by R&B group 112.
Songs You Were Made To is set to be released Aug. 22 and can be pre-ordered from iTunes.
