After making us “Dance” last month, Justine Skye returns with her brand new single “U Don’t Know” featuring Wizkid. On the island-flavored tune, which was written by Kevin Garrett and produced by Chris Loco, Skye sings about her feelings of breaking up with her lover.
“I try to keep my cool, but it’s too hard to tell if / You play me for a fool or your heart finally felt it / And you’re the one who’s losin’, you’re too f**kin’ selfish / I didn’t wanna do this, but I just can’t help it,” Skye sings.
Speaking on the song, Skye says, “When it comes to love, I go through a lot emotionally. The song speaks to that vibe. That’s a space I’m in right now emotionally and physically.”
Earlier this year, Skye signed a new record deal with JAY Z’s label Roc Nation. She is currently working on the follow-up to her 2015 EP, Emotionally Unavailable.
