Guordan Banks Shares ‘Keep You In Mind (Remix)’ feat. Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller

Following Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller’s remake of “Keep You In Mind,” Guordan Banks releases an official remix of the song.

“It was actually super organic how it all came about,” Banks told Rated R&B in an interview. “I was in the studio with Chris about a year ago and played him “Keep You In Mind” and he loved it. I told him that it was going to be my single. Fast forward present day him and Bryson jumped on the record and now we’re here! It’s all been an amazing journey.”

“Keep You In Mind” will appear on Banks’ forthcoming debut album, that’s slated to release soon.

Listen to 6LACK’s New Single ‘Switch’

It’s been a few months since we’ve heard solo material (“Cutting Ties“) from 6LACK but he’s back with a new single called “Switch.”

Backed by a blaring bass and background vocals from Ty Dolla $ign, the track hears the Georgia native challenging his listeners to wear the hat of someone else to see if they could survive all the troubles the other person endures.

“Now switch / Tell me how it feels, to be somebody else,” he sings on the mesmerizing chorus. “Now switch / It wasn’t what you thought it was, another story to tell.”

“Switch” could mark the sign of a new album era for 6LACK. He took to social media to announce details on his untitled follow-up to 2016’s FREE 6LACK. “I think my album is done. Love, Bear,” he shared.

Gallant Enlists A$AP Ferg for ‘Doesn’t Matter’ Remix

Singer-songwriter Gallant calls on rapper A$AP Ferg for the remix of his new single, “Doesn’t Matter.”

Ferg opens the track with a fiery verse. “Baby girl you’re so amazing / And your body so hot like cajun / We could hit up in this spot and in the nations / Skinny dippin’, might wanna leave your braids in,” he raps.

In addition to the remix, Gallant released an accompanying visual with Ferg. The updated video is similar to the original except the New York rapper is seen spitting his bomb verse in a blue-lit room, with an occasional drop-in from Gallant.

Last week, Gallant and Ferg premiered the remix during their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Gallant is prepping for the release of his untitled sophomore album, which will arrive later this year on Mind of A Genius/Warner Bros. Records. In the meantime, he will launch his Too Good To Be Tour  this fall with special guests Cautious Clay and Jamila Woods.
