It’s that time of year again! The Soul Train Awards is set to return next month. Today, Centric revealed its list of nominees.

Rapper Drake leads the pack with 12 nominations including Video of the Year (“Hotline Bling”) and Song of the Year (“Controlla.”) Beyoncé follows with eight nominations including Album/Mixtape of the Year (Lemonade) and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.

R&B veteran Brandy will be honored with the Lady of Soul Award.  The platinum selling artist and actress has sold over 40 million records and received numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, one American Music Award, and seven Billboard Music Awards.

Meanwhile, producer/singer/songwriter Teddy Riley (also known as the creator and king of New Jack Swing) will receive the Legend Award. As a founding member of the multi-platinum Grammy winning group Blackstreet and a member of the group Guy, which became a multi-platinum group, Riley’s New Jack Swing sound was the epic lifeline that forever changed the design for R&B and Hip-Hop music.

Hosted by Erykah Badu, the 2016 Soul Train Awards will take be filmed on November 6 and air on Centric and BET on November 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
