Kehlani has released a visual for her latest single, “Distraction.”
Directed by Yashxana, the video shows the Cali native performing sexy dance moves for her male co-star.
“Are you down to be a distraction, baby? / But don’t distract me, let me ask you, baby,” she sings.
“Distraction” is the second single from Kehlani’s upcoming debut album and follows her previous release, “CRZY,” via Atlantic Records.
Speaking on the song’s inspiration, Kehlani told Genius, “I was talking to this girl, and I was like, it’s cool to have a little thing, but right now I’m so in my vibe like I can’t even like, so you got to be a distraction but you really can’t take away from what I got going on.”
She continued, “I made it an Instagram caption first and then was like, ‘Ay! That shit was fire,’ and took it off the caption and we made this song right after.”
